INTRODUCING THE FMG ENGINEERING BLOG

FMG Engineering is a national multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with offices based in Adelaide, Tanunda, Mount Gambier and Melbourne.

FMG Engineering commenced operations in Adelaide in 1972
, under the name of Koukourou Engineers, before becoming FMG Engineering in 2008. They established an office on Melbourne in the mid 1980’s.

Burns Hamilton and Partners was established in 1992 by Leigh Burns and John Hamilton. Together they have over 60 years’ experience in the industry. Burns Hamilton is a leading Melbourne Civil and Structural engineering consultancy.  Following the recent merger of the two engineering firms, FMG Engineering incorporating Burns Hamilton now boasts 150 employees in total and has one of the largest teams of structural engineers across Victoria and South Australia.

As the merger comes into fruition and FMG Engineering wraps up its 40th Anniversary celebrations, the firm now looks to marketplace changes, the strategy moving forward and aligning the companies’ resources and experience to continue delivering flexible and affordable solutions and boosting the multi-disciplinary service offering across all sectors.

FMG Engineering provide the experience and knowledge to efficiently and effectively deliver any project. Evolving with government changes, rules and regulations, FMG Engineering are big enough to accommodate large scale projects whilst remaining small enough to provide back of house senior support throughout the life of a development.

Throughout this blog, there will be discussion on industry issues, new market changes, developments and analysis of projects around Australia.

We encourage your feedback and discussion as we look into upcoming projects, talk about future predictions and look at the challenges that we face and solutions to overcome them.

From the FMG Engineering team.
